1915 Dated Imperial Prussian Uhlan Regiment EM/NCO Cap

The cap has a dark blue wool top with a golden yellow wool cap band and golden yellow piping.  This color combination was worn by the personnel of Garde Uhlanen-Regiment 3 (Potsdam) Garde-Korps; by Uhlan Regiment. Graf Haeseler Number 11 (2. Brandenburgisches) of Saarburg; and by the Schleswig-Holsteinisches Uhlan Regiment Number 15 of Saarburg. The exterior of the cap has scattered tracking to the top and sides as well as a few holes to the top.  The front exhibits the Prussian and national colors cockades. The interior of the cap shows use and it bears a 1915 date and Saarburg depot stamps. The initials “K.S.” are inside of the cap, as is the handwritten notation of “153 H”.
