Five 1919 Comedy Telegrams Bearing Sender Names of Woodrow Wilson, General Pershing, and Marshall Foch

The five documents are typed on Western Union Telegram forms, and while one is undated, the other four are all dated February 26, 1919. All four documents make reference to “the Class of 1917” and a banquet being held at the “Hotel Allen” in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The documents bear as senders the names of Woodrow Wilson; General John J. Pershing; Marshall Ferdinand Foch; Premier Clemenceau of France; and four individuals who are identified as members of “The Class of 1917”. Internet research shows these individuals as apparently having been members of the Class of 1917 of the Northampton Area High School, near Allentown. The papers shows age toning.
