The wreath shows a fine, uncleaned patina and intact dark burnishing of the leaves, while the eagle retains a toned gilt finish. The eagle is secured with two domed rivets. The reverse of the eagle bears the maker mark of the Assmann firm. Overall the badge shows very fine detail. Excellent condition.
