Imperial German 4th Curassier Regiment Officer Visor Cap

The white wool visor cap has a red wool cap band and red piping, with officer quality cockades on the front in both the national and Prussian colors. The cap is in exceptionally clean condition, showing only minimal soiling of the white wool. The cap is without stains or holes. The surface of the leather visor is without chips, cracks, or crazing. The interior shows wear, but the wide leather sweatband is intact and the lining of the crown bears the cap retailer name in gilt. The leather sweatband has the owner’s initials punched into it. Overall the cap is in extremely fine condition.
