The cap is constructed of a dark blue wool body and white wool cap band, both piped in white. The front of the cap displays the Prussian and national colors cockades, both of which show wear. The cap shows scattered tracking and a few small holes. The interior shows wear and the initials “W.O.” are written on the lining. This style of cap was worn by the 9th (2nd Pomeranian) Uhlans and by the 13th (1st Hannover) King’s Uhlans.
