1941 Dated Army Panzer Feldwebel M36 Tunic
$1,900.00
The field gray wool M36 tunic was worn by a Feldwebel (Non Commissioned Officer) of the Army Panzer forces. The right breast exhibits a flat wire Army NCO eagle which is machine sewn to the uniform above the pleated pocket. The collar carries the tresse of a Non Commissioned Officer and collar tabs have pink waffenfarbe. The tunic has slip on Feldwebel shoulder straps, also bearing the pink waffenfarbe of the Panzer forces. The shoulder straps have minor and barely perceptible disturbances of the dark green wool badge cloth, indicating that the straps carried unit numbers that would have been removed in accordance with security regulations early in the war. The left side of the uniform has a small set of loops above the breast pocket for a ribbon bar, and a set of loops on the pleat of the left breast pocket for the wear of a combat badge. The interior of the tunic has size stamps as well as the clothing depot code of “WB” and the date of “41”. The tunic has a hole near the edge of the upper right pocket, as well as some holes to the lower front of the tunic skirt and on the right front bottom skirt edge. One front button is loose, but it remains attached. The interior is fully lined and shows perspiration stains from wear. Overall the tunic makes a very good appearance.
