US Army Model 1872 Light Artillery Officer Sword

Overall length of approximately 38 inches. The scabbard has areas of graying and wear to the finish. The brass hilt and scabbard fittings have old, uncleaned patina. The blade is distributor marked by Oehm & Company of Baltimore and is quite clean and bright, with etched decorative motifs on each side. The leather washer remains in place at the top of the blade. Overall very good condition.
