WWII Japanese Military Horse Administration Bureau Tunic and Field Cap

The tunic is a khaki five button jacket with an external patch pocket on the upper left breast and an internal pocket with button flap closure on the upper right interior. The left sleeve carries the machine woven patch of the military Horse Administration Bureau, with the corresponding metal insignia on the left collar. The tunic has a penciled number “14” on the exterior left pocket. The tunic shows some spots but it is in overall excellent condition The field cap is a white cotton example with the metal insignia of the Bureau on the front. The cap shows soiling and spots but is in overall very good condition. The Horse Administration Bureau was set up to provided horses for the military.
