WWII Painted 13th Armored Division Field Jacket
World War II Model 1943 U.S. Army field jacket, with a large painted insignia on the back of the jacket for the 13th Armored Division, the “Black Cat Division.” The jacket has an interior label and the owner’s laundry mark of P2151. The jacket shows intense use, with fraying to collar and cuffs, torn seams, multiple field repairs and tears to the body of the jacket, including tears to the outer shell in the area of the painted insignia. An armored division patch was at one time on the left shoulder. Overall a well used combat jacket that without any question has that “been there” look.
