WWII Japanese Army Lieutenant Tropical Tunic

The four pocket tunic is of a fine twill material in olive green, with an upper interior lining and with the rank tab of an Imperial Army Lieutenant sewn on the upper left breast. The tunic was designed for warm weather wear, with side ventilation openings beneath each arm. The left side of the tunic has a tailored opening for the wear of a sword. The interior collar bears a tag with kanji. The tunic shows signs of actual wear, with a few subtle spots and minor fabric pulls, but the tunic is without holes, damage or repairs, and it makes a very fine appearance. Overall excellent lightly used condition.
