The cap is constructed of a fine quality ribbed field gray wool. The cap exterior shows signs of age and wear but it is without holes or damage. The interior lining is intact, while lacking the celluloid sweat shield. The lining is marked as a size 55. The leather sweatband has some tears, but it is complete. The cap has a nice saddle shape and exhibits great character.
