WWII Army Corps of Engineers Officer Visor Cap
Olive green wool officer’s visor cap, with one tiny hole on the top rear surface of the cap. The officer eagle on the peak has verdigris and uncleaned patina. Corps of Engineers side buttons. There is no interior size tag but it appears to be about a size 7 1/4 to 7 1/2. The cap is a bit “flat” from storage but displays well. The sweat band stitching has given way in one or two small spots, but the sweat band is complete and intact. The cap is retailer marked by Saco uniforms of Philadelphia. Overall very good condition.
