The helmet has a hand painted rendering of the Marine Corps insignia on the front, substituting the eagle for a man with raised arms. On the back side of the helmet is a hand painted vertical stripe. The exterior and interior of the helmet have rust, and the helmet has two noticeable indentations in the top as well as a dent to the rim. The helmet lacks the liner and chin strap.
