WWI German M16 Combat Helmet by Eisenhuettenwerke

$625.00

The exterior field gray paint is generally intact, showing typical scuffs, scratches, and spots of surface rust consistent with use of the helmet at the front. The interior leather liner ring is present, and it retains the three leather liner pads, all of which retain the filling in the fabric “pillows” behind the leather pads. The drawstring is present although untied. The top of one of the six tounges on the liner pads is torn, while the other tongues are intact. The interior of the helmet is marked “ET 66”, indicating a size 66 helmet shell that was manufactured by the firm of Eisenhuettenwerke in Thale. Overall the helmet makes a fine appearance and it is in very good field used condition.
