Vietnam War Era U.S. Air Force Brigadier General Flight Surgeon Fatigue Uniform
Circa 1970’s. The uniform is comprised of the fatigue shirt (size 16 1/2 x 36), trousers (size 38 x 31), and cap (size 7 1/4). The shirt has on the left breast is the Senior Flight Surgeon Wing, the USAF Senior Physician Badge and, interestingly, the U.S. Army Expert Infantryman Badge. The name tag has been removed from the right breast. On the right breast of the shirt is the patch of the USAF Systems Command. All of the insignia is in subdued cloth versions. The collar and the cap display the rank insignia of an Air Force Brigadier General. The shirt has a number of some spots and it has stains to the sleeves. The trousers and cap are in very good condition, with the trousers including the original web belt.
