Vietnam War Era M1917 Bayonet for Winchester Trench Shotguns

The Winchester 1200 Trench Shotgun saw use during the Vietnam War, and in 1966, with stockpiles of the bayonets for that weapon having been exhausted, the Defense Department placed orders for more of the bayonets with the General Cutlery Company of Ohio. This M1917 bayonet, with its corresponding M1917 scabbard, are marked with the model designation and “Gen. Cut,” on the guard. The Parkerized finish is excellent, showing only minor wear. The plastic grip plates are without chips or cracks. The scabbard is in excellent condition, with the reverse bearing the stenciled initials “H.H.C.”,
