U.S. Navy Mark 28 Large Ship’s Binoculars in Hard Case
Large World War II Navy ship’s binoculars, manufactured by Bausch & Lomb and so marked, also marked to the U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships and dated 1943. The officer’s name of “M. Holber” is lightly scratched into the binoculars. Very clear optics of 7 x 50 power. Full neck strap, the set contained in a large hard black rubber case with integral compass set into the case lid. Case has full neck strap, belt suspension strap on reverse, and carrying strap on lid, all intact.
