U.S. Marine Corps Model 1874 McKeever Cartridge box

The cartridge box shows age, with some flaking of the leather surfaces on the sides. The cover flap bears an impressed “USM” designation. The interior fabric cartridge loops are present, with the interior having Anson Mills manufacturing plates. The brass components show patina and verdigris. The reverse side bears what appears to be the imprint of the Watervliet Arsenal. The box is complete and intact and it is in very good condition.
