The leather cartridge box shows typical age crazing and wear, with the brass fittings showing uncleaned patina and verdigris. The leather is somewhat dry but it remains pliable and shows a good polish. The reverse is manufacturer marked by the rock Island Arsenal. Overall very good condition.
