Signed “Hopkins”, the canvas has an overall size of approximately 30-1/4 inches by 40 inches. The painted canvas commemorates service in Hawaii in July of 1944; Leyte in October of 1944; Okinawa in April of 1945; and Korea in September of 1945. The canvas was at one time affixed to a wooden frame and shows stains and small edge holes from staples, as well as age soiling.
