Rare SA Type IV Straight Wing Brass Buckle

The buckle is brass with a separately applied brass disk on which there is a relief straight wing political eagle with rotating swastika. According to the book “German Belt Buckles 1845-1945” by Peter Nash, this is the “Type IV” SA buckle, and it is “The rarest type of SA buckle” and “Only a few are known to exist” (See “German Belt Buckles 1845-1945“, Copyright 2003, page 58).  The brass buckle has a dark, uncleaned patina, and shows a small indentation below one wing of the eagle.
