Posthumous Named and Cased 81st Chemical Battalion Purple Heart


The Purple Heart is a slot brooch suspension and it is named to “Anthony Pittari”, who was killed in action on November 17, 1944, while serving in France with the 81st Chemical Battalion. The medal is contained within its titled black leather case together with the ribbon bar and enamel lapel badge. The medal is accompanied by some research. Overall excellent condition.
