Named WWII Navy Aviator Uniform & I.D. Cards
The complete World War II wool uniform of Navy aviator Lieutenant j.g. Moreland Paul Le Blanc, Jr. The tailored uniform is comprised of the jacket, with darkly toned bullion aviator wings, and the matching trousers. The interior jacket pocket is named to Le Blanc and dated 1944. The uniform is accompanied by two identification cards. One is a laminated “Certificate of Satisfactory Service”, which identifies the dates of service as 1 January 1943 to 22 February 1946. The second card was issued on 22 February 1946 and identifies Le Blanc as an officer on the Naval Reserves. The set also includes two bullion stars for wear on the uniform to indicate service as a line officer. The uniform is in excellent condition.
