The porcelain half liter stein has an overall height of approximately 9-1/2 inches. The stein is named to “Johann Brutscher”, who served with the unit from 1901 to 1903. The lid has a glass prism over a hand painted camp scene. The base has a lithopane scene of a soldier and his sweetheart. The stein shows only minor wear to the painted design in spots, and it is in near mint condition, with bright colors, little to no pewter oxidation, and without chips or cracks.
