The body of the wool cap had the stiffener removed by its owner to create the appearance of a field “crusher” cap. The surface of the visor shows typical age crazing. The green wool body of the cap shows tracking and scattered holes. The interior silk lining is intact, as is the interior leather sweatband. The cap exhibits great character as a field worn piece.
