Japanese Army EM/NCO Canteen

The exterior paint of the canteen is largely intact, showing typical scuffs from use in the field. The fabric harness and shoulder strap exhibit soiling, with the shoulder strap having indistinct issue stamps. The canteen has a fabric stopper retention strap, a wartime economy measure that replaced the leather stopper strap. The shoulder strap similarly shows the wartime economy measure of the elimination of metal adjustment buckles. Overall very good field used condition.
