The cap is constructed of a dark blue wool body with a dark blue wool band, both with white piping. The exterior of the cap shows light soiling and a few very tiny bites, but overall the cap is quite clean and makes a fine appearance. The surface of the leather visor shows typical age crazing. The front of the cap carries the national colors officer cockade above the Prussian colors cockade. The interior lining shows signs of wear, but it is complete and intact. The retailer’s name is present on the lining of the crown.
