$750.00
The matching tunic and trousers are constructed of high quality blue Melton wool, with the tunic bearing the heavy dress bullion epaulettes of a Captain of the Royal Artillery. The collar, cuffs, and skirt of the tunic all also exhibit the ornate bullion ornamentation of a Royal Artillery officer. The tunic is fully lined with a quilted padded lining. The trousers are unlined, with a button fly, wide red side stripes, and leather straps across the bottoms of the legs. The uniform includes the gold dress brocade sword belt with hangers as well as the gold dress brocade cross belt with the black leather Royal Artillery cartouche box. The uniform also includes the officer overseas cap and visor cap, with the visor cap bearing a size tag of 6-7/8. The uniform is exceptionally clean, showing only light wear and being without holes, stains or damage. The accoutrements are in a similarly impressive condition. The overseas cap shows some signs of age and it exhibits age toning of the bullion and surface soiling. Overall the set is in excellent condition.
