The set consists of the neck order and the breast star of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, together with the ribbon bar; miniature; and lapel rosette. The orders are in excellent condition, with the silver gilt showing uncleaned patina and the enamel being without chips or cracks. The reverse of the breast star is jeweler marked by Arturo Pozzi. The green leather case exhibits scuffs and age.
