British Crimea Medal with Bars “Inkermann”, “Balaclava”, and “Alma” to a Sergeant of the 68th (Durham) Light Infantry Regiment

The medal shows scratches as well as several surface knocks, primarily to the jaw and neck areas of Queen Victoria’s profile. The medal itself and the bars all exhibit a dark and uncleaned patina. The edge is named to “Serjt. James. Nevin. 68th. L.I.”. The ribbon is quite old and shows wear and soiling.
