1945 Dated Japanese Army Parachute Bag

The large, cotton canvas, bag retains all straps and closure ties. The bag is collapsible, and when expanded it measures approximately 20 inches wide by 16 inches high by 10 inches deep. The bag bears a label which bears the stamped notation of “20 5 15”. The represents a date, being the 15th day of the 5th month (May) in the 20th year of the Showa reign, or 1945. The bag shows expected spots, soiling, and signs of age, but overall it is in very good condition and without tears, holes, or damage.
