A 1943 dated Type 99 Electrical Resistance Measuring Unit within its original wooden carrying case. The manufacturing plate on the case identifies it as a product of the Yokogawa Electric Works, Inc. Production Factory, with a production date of January, 1943. The wooden case is approximately 8 by 7 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches. The interior surface of the instrument has two cracks each about 3 inches long. It is unknown if the unit is in working condition. The case has a leather carrying strap that is somewhat dry but intact. The case has the expected scratches from use.
