Vietnam War Mortar Attack Shrapnel Souvenir Plaque

Recently deaccessioned by a Vietnam War museum. Approximately 8 by 10 inches. The plaque has a hand painted tiger, with designation of the 121st Aviation Company and the notation that the pieces of shrapnel on the plaque were fragments from a mortar attack in Soc Trang, 2242 Hours (11:42 p.m.) on 7 February 1965. There is a label that was affixed to the top of the plaque with the name of the veteran who gave the plaque to the museum.
