A Type 32 cavalry saber with a rather long overall length in the scabbard of approximately 39 inches, and with a blade length of approximately 32 1/2 inches. The blade is generally bright with typical spots and smudges, primarily towards the tip, and with pitting "pock marks" along the length of both sides. The blade has no chips, cracks, or active rust. The ricasso of the blade is numbered "060682". The drag of the scabbard bears two numbers. The number "045253" is stamped on the drag with a line through it and, above it, the number "060682" is stamped. The scabbard is bright steel, as are all of the components of the hilt. The scabbard displays some small scattered dents and scattered roughness. The checkered wood grips are without chips or cracks. Overall the sword is in good condition.
