WWII Japanese Navy CPO Green Field Cap

On Hold

A very good example of a Japanese Navy chief petty officer's field cap that was obviously worn in the field. The cap is the green cotton style and the exterior of the cap has a somewhat khaki appearance as a result of the exposure of the cap to the sun. The Imperial Navy anchor insignia is on the front of the cap. The cap bears the single black stripe of a junior officer around its circumference. The interior of the cap carries the large Navy issue stamp. The cap shows the expected signs of wear in the field, but overall it is in very good condition.
