WWII Kendo Military Sword Training Set
Before and during World War II the Japanese soldier was trained in the martial art of Kendo, meaning "Way of the Sword". The training set consists of the padded face mask, the chest protector, the thigh protector, and two different examples of the glove for the right hand (only one hand was gloved in the Kendo training). The interior of the chest protector has Japanese kanji painted on it). Overall the set is in very good condition, showing the expected signs of use and wear in training.
