Two portrait photographs of a Japanese Navy Petty Officer (one alone and one as a group of three officers), both photographs being 3 by 4 1/4 inches in size. Both photographs have faint Japanese stamps on the back, and both also have stamps reading "Examined in the Field / Passed by Joint Intelligence" and bearing the initials of the censor. The photograph which depicts the Petty Officer alone bears the penciled notation "Jap Officer of Imperial Marines Killed in Saipan Invasion". The photos are in excellent condition.
