Clean WWII Type 30 Arisaka Bayonet National Denki
click for an even bigger image

A very clean example of the Type 30 bayonet for the Arisaka rifle. The ricasso is marked with the logos of both National Denki (National Electric) and the Kokura Arsenal. The blued finish of the blade is nearly completely intact, with minor spots of loss and typical runner marks. The wood plate grips show minor carrying wear and marks but are free of chips or cracks. The pommel is numbered. The bayonet has a straight quillon and the pommel and bayonet guard show only light surface rust from exposure. There are number painted in Japanese on the spine of the grip. The blued finish of the steel scabbard, like the blued finish of the blade, shows only minor wear. Overall the bayonet is in exceptional condition, showing the indications of wear and use but remaining in a superb state.
