A picture book on the Imperial Japanese Navy of the wartime era, inside of which were three personal photographs that presumably depict the navy petty officer who was the owner of the book. The book is soft cover, 6 by 9 inches in size, 23 pages (actually 46 pages, but the pages are printed on only one side). The book contains photographs of various types of Japanese ships, most all of which have the name of the ship in English as well as Japanese. The booklet is in excellent condition. Inside of the booklet were three photographs. One photograph, 3 1/2 by 5 inches, depicts a group of Japanese seamen with an officer, and the photograph has writing on the reverse. Another photo, 3 by 4 1/4 inches, depicts a group of seamen and officers in front of a gun turret; and the third photograph, 3 by 4 1/4 inches, depicts a navy petty officer with a young boy, presumably his son. The photographs are in excellent condition.
