Named 87th Division Ammo Train Helmet & Money Belt
A World War I M1917 combat helmet that is named to the soldier who wore it, together with the private purchase belt used to carry money or personal possessions. Both of the pieces are named to Corporal J.L. Wayland of the 312th Ammunition Train, AEF. The money belt also carries the notations of "Co. A" and "87th Div.". The helmet is complete with its liner and a chin strap, and is in overall excellent condition.
