WWII Army Air Force Pilot Identified Insignia Group

A group of insignia and memorabilia belonging to Army Air Force Flight Officer William A. Coulter. The group includes Coulter's War Department identity card, issued in December of 1944, and hole punched "Inactive"; full size, 3 inch, pin back sterling silver pilot wings; a "short snorter", being a series 1935 One Dollar silver certificate signed by 28 flight officers; an Army Air force D-4 time/distance computer; a small, pocket copy of "Take-Off", the official handbook of the Corps of Aviation Cadets; shoulder patches for the 3rd and 20th Air forces, in unused condition; a pin back rank insignia for a Flight Officer; and a named Massachusetts Masonic 50 year service medal. All of the items are in excellent condition.
