WWII Front Seam Swivel Bale M1 Combat Helmet
click for an even bigger image

The exterior, cork infused, green combat paint is approximately 95% intact, with some minor spots and scrapes. The shell has a faint, 3 digit, heat stamp on the front interior. The chin strap is intact. The liner is a Westinghouse example with intact exterior green gloss finish paint. The nape strap in the liner is dated 1945. The helmet liner is lacking the chin strap. Overall an excellent example of a World War II M1 combat helmet showing relatively light use.
