Fixed Bale Front Seam M1 Combat Helmet
The exterior, cork infused, olive green combat paint is approximately 90% intact, with the typical signs of use and wear. The front interior of the shell bears the heat stamp of "223B". Both the interior of the shell and the exterior of the helmet liner are stenciled with the laundry mark of "K-5164". The helmet shell has the earlier green web chin strap with raised bar buckle. The liner is a Westinghouse example with the earlier light green webbing. The liner is lacking the chin strap. The interior of the helmet shell is quite clean, and overall the helmet is in very good condition.
