WWII Newsboy War Stamps Water Weasel Wool Patch
A large patch, 4 inches in diameter, embroidered on wool, in unused condition. The patch was awarded to newsboys who sold a certain number of War Savings Stamps in support of the purchase of "Water Weasels", an amphibious vehicle that was officially designated the M-29C Cargo Carrier, and which could carry four men or 1,200 pounds of equipment through both water and on land. The patch does not fluoresce under ultra violet light.
