The exterior olive brown combat paint is approximately 85% intact, with typical spots and scratches and a few spots of surface rust. The Army star insignia is affixed to the front of the helmet. The interior three pad liner is complete and intact. It shows obvious wear, but the "pillows" behind the pads remain filled and the drawstring is present. There is writing in Japanese kanji on one of the liner pads. The full fabric chin strap is present. Overall the helmet is in very good, combat used, condition.
