Inert Early WWII MK II Practice Hand Grenade
An early war practice version of the MK II high explosive fragmentation hand grenade. The body of the hand grenade is in the original dark red paint that was used by the Army to designate a practice grenade before switching that color to light blue during the war. The body of the grenade has the impressed number "39" (presumably the year of production), a cross, and the letter "F" within a diamond. The grenade is complete with its original fuse and "spoon" handle as well as its original base screw,
