Korean War M5A1 Bayonet by Milpar
The M5A1 bayonet was developed for use in the Korean War as a bayonet that the soldiers could easily attach to their M1 Garand rifles while wearing gloves. The grips are checkered black molded plastic and the pommel, guard and blade all have a dark gray Parkerized finish. One side of the blade shows edge sharpening. The manufacturer name of Milpar is on one side of the guard while the other side has the US M5A1 designation. The bayonet is within the original M8A1 fiberglass scabbard with attached frog. Overall very good condition.
