Third Reich K98 Dress Bayonet by Carl Eickhorn
The blade is marked with the squirrel logo of the Carl Eickhorn firm. The blade is very bright with only relatively minor scratches. The leather washer is in place on the ricasso. The black Bakelite grips are free of any chips or cracks, although the surfaces of the domed grip rivets have surface rust. The plating on the pommel and on the guard is bright and intact. The black scabbard paint is approximately 50% intact. The bayonet is within its original brown leather frog. The frog shows wear and it is a bit dry at the belt loop, but overall the frog is in good used condition. Overall the bayonet is in very fine condition and the scabbard is in good condition.
