Third Reich Bahnschutzpolizei NCO Overseas Cap
A overseas cap of the Third Reich Bahnschutzpolizei, the German Railway Protection Police for NCO ranks. The cap is constructed from the blue gray wool that was unique to the Railway Protection Police and piped in gray on the top crease. The front of the cap displays the machine woven eagle that was worn only by that organization. Below the eagle is the machine woven national cockade which, like the eagle, is woven on a blue-gray rayon background. The cap is fully lined, marked as a size "57", dated 1943, and marked with the RB number factory production code. The cap has typical signs of use and wear. There is wear ans some tracking to the wool nap, and a few small holes, these being primarily located on the gray piping. The cap makes a very good appearance.
