A World War II M1 combat helmet with camouflage net and burlap camouflage fabric. The helmet is a front seam example with fixed bales. The exterior green combat paint is approximately 90% intact. The liner is a Firestone product. The helmet is covered with a large panel camouflage net, the net squares being approximately 2 inches square. worked through the netting is green and brown burlap camouflage cloth strips. The fabric helmet chin strap and the leather liner chin strap are both present. The interior of the helmet liner shows typical signs of wear and use but overall the helmet is in very good service used condition.
